Here are super easy instructions for an easy/cheap pioneer shirt for a man or boy. There are two sets of instructions. One easy, the other slightly less easy, but both are good.
List of Materials:
- an old button-up, long sleeve collared shirt
- scissors
- seam ripper
- sewing machine (optional)
Instructions for EASY:
 |
This is an old junk shirt my husband doesn't use anymore. It's perfect. The shirt you use doesn't have to be white. This was just handy. |
 |
Step 1: Cut the collar off. It's THAT simple!! |
Here are the Slightly Less Easy instructions:
 |
Step 1: Seam rip the collar |
 |
It should look something like this. |
 |
Step 2: Remove the top collar thingy and sew back up the seam. |
 |
It doesn't matter what method you use, cutting or sewing, with both you will need to cut off the front pocket. |
HERE is the finished product! TA DA! You too can be a bona fide settler!
